The graphic novel aims is to raise awareness on the difficult living and working conditions of migrant workers in Jordan, with a focus on mostly female migrant workers, cases of violations of the rights of migrant workers and their increased vulnerability to become victims of human trafficking.

In detail, the novel pictures a female character traveling to Jordan who faces challenges attempting to resign from her Jordanian employer in Jordan.

The rights deprived from migrant workers such as, receiving fair wages, being provided with decent place to stay, keeping possession of their own documents, staying in touch with their family, taking vacations and many more are violations that constitute the crime of human trafficking. This novel is produced in order to raise further awareness for the rights of migrant workers.
